How Our Network Works

Request an estimate

Who you talk to

Say you send a request after finding a leak under the sink. The person who responds will be an independent plumbing provider from our network, not an employee of Strokestrip Plumbing.

That provider runs their own business. They set their own schedule, prices and methods.

What happens next

Here is the usual path:

  • You describe the problem and your location.
  • A provider reaches out to ask a few questions.
  • They explain what they think is going on and what the options may be.
  • You get a quote. Costs vary by job, so ask for it in writing.
  • You decide whether to go ahead.

If you would rather talk by phone, Request a callback to check provider availability.

What to ask a provider

A few good questions can save you stress later:

  • Are you licensed and insured for this work?
  • What do you think caused the problem?
  • What are my options, and what does each one cost?
  • Is the quote written, and what could change it?
  • How long will the work likely take?
  • Will you explain what you did when you finish?

For a sewer or drain problem, ask whether a camera inspection makes sense. It can show what is really going on inside the pipe.

You are in control

You can ask questions, compare quotes and say no. Nothing here locks you in. A good provider will not rush you, unless there is a real safety risk such as water near electrical items. In that case, shut off the water at the main valve if you can do so safely.

Keep the long view

A repair done well protects your home and its value. Ask the provider to explain the fix, not just the price. Keep your paperwork and photos. They can help if you file an insurance claim or sell the house later.
